Beryl was a great next door neighbour and I will miss our chats over the fence . Always , until recently, fiercely independent , cooking home recipes and enjoying her garden- she was always pointing out the birds nesting in our eaves!
I will miss the sneaky gin and tonics at our Christmas celebrations and introducing Beryl to her first taste of Thai cuisine!
Both Simon and I have fond memories . Rest in peace .
